Back in the 1980s and early 90s, Honda used the acronym ALB for what’s universally called ABS now.

Ford called it ALB too, and i believe there’s ALB valve in the citroen saxo aswell. The mk4 escort i think had belt driven sensors off each driveshaft near the gearbox...

I’m no English master (ha!) but in acronyms aren’t hyphenated words considered one word? In which case, ALB was always wrong.

Also: Saying, “I have a non-functioning ALB”, is like saying, “I have a leak in my cooling”. For shame Honda, for shame.

I’m no English master either, but I think you’re right. I’ve offered the car with it to RCR, so if they decide to review it Mr. Regular will probably at least mention it in passing.
